My wife and I are staying at the Marriott Frenchmans Reef Resort. Any comments on what we can expect?

Also, we want to do cayaking, hiking, sailing, etc. I am only assuming some shopping. We basically want some adventure. Any suggestions. We are staying for a week in mid December.

Thanks.

My wife and I just stayed at Frenchmans Reef last week. The pool was repainted for the season so it is good to go. They have a nice gym and spa with good cardio and weight lifting equipment. The marketplace is open 24hrs so you can always get sodas, beer, sandwiches. If you rent a car they have free parking in their garage. We did not try the main resteraunt there because we preferred to go out at night. The only advice I would give is to request a room on the higher floors. The bottom floors in the bldg where the gym and spa are located are not in good shape because they are about to completely renovate them. Other than that we had a great time at the property. The day trip to St. John was probably our most memorable day. The beaches there are less crowded and perfect for cayaking and snorkeling and there is great hiking on St. John as well.
Have a great time!
