I'm getting married on St Thomas next month and am trying to think of favors for the guests that are characteristic of the Island. Do you all have any good suggestions? It'd be nice if it was something edible or easy to pack since all of our guests will be traveling.

Box of Rum Balls, they come in three sizes, 4, 8, 12 oz. Rum Balls are made in STT.
Rum Cakes are also a tasty treat. They also come in a couple sizes.
Small Cruzan Rum sampler bottles. Cruzan is a VI Rum, product of St. Croix.
Small items - magnet with photo of STT or playing cards with images of STT/USVI.
For ladies in the wedding party, you could do Sandal for your Neck pendants/necklace; there are some that say St. Thomas.
Christmas Tree Ornament with STT design and customized with Wedding Date. These would need some care when packing, might be nice for the parents/family, yourself and/or wedding party.
Music cd of a local band.

Check out this awesome STX glass artist. She has ornaments for $12 each that make great small gifts. I bought many of them a couple of years ago. Beautiful items to choose from. Call her and see if she could send them to STT. Maybe someone on STT could let you know if there is a shop that carries them. They do a great job of packaging items for flights home. I only wish I would have purchased more things from her studio. No two pieces are identical. Finding unique gifts in today's world is difficult.

I'm trying to think of inexpensive, unisex gifts that are appropriate for almost anybody. Spices may be a good choice, but I'd add some kind of personalized photo label saying something like "Betty and Bob Added Spice and Blended Their Lives At Their Wedding on DATE in St Thomas, VI."
Candles are nice. You can get some that are made in the VI with coconut shells and have island scents at the Captain's Corner stores for $4.99. Also, shells and sand dollars. They also sell "Just Married" greeting cards.
They've got very nice bookmarks at Dockside Books in Havensight, many with photos of St Thomas.
If you look in the shopping guides that are distributed in town, you can sometimes find good deals on hook bracelets. I got one for $10 last year, but that was before silver went up so high!
