Hello everyone,

My finance and I are planning to have our wedding in St. Thomas. We are not interested in a beach wedding. Is there a location on St. Thomas were we can say our vows overlooking a cliff? We are open to suggestions somewhere where there is a beautiful view. We may have up to 20 guests attending and we plan to be wed next May.

Also can someone recommend a place to have our reception looking for a 5 star restaurant. We are open to other suggestions as to where to have the reception.

Thanks to everyone for all your help.

Lauren

point pleasant has INCREDIBLE VIEWS and one of the TOP restaurants on the island ...you could do both and also have your guests stay there!
that is my vote
if it was on the beach i would say hands down secret harbour but you might want the better view and better five star restaurant at point pleasant

also how about the wyndham....or westin on st john?

The St Peter Great House isn't on a cliff, but it is high up on the mountain overlooking the BVI. I have been to a couple of weddings there and they were beautiful. Not sure how you arrange it...

Ginger,

Thanks so much for suggesting Point Pleasant. I just checked out their website and thanks to you I think this is the perfect place to get married!!! For a wedding coordinator, I will check contact Weddings the Island Way or Caribbean Occasions.

Thanks Ginger

Lauren

IMHO the best restaurants are Old Stone Farmhouse and Oceana. Why don't you rent a villa and have the wedding and reception at the villa. I did some research on this and there are a few villas that allow small weddings; if you are interested, I'll check my files.

My daugher is having a larger wedding in June; we made a field trip last May and checked out many options.

Call the Territorrial court house for a reputable wedding company or minister.
