Good evening all! Wondering if anyone has stayed at, or have any info on villas on St Thomas? We are a group of 10, looking to travel late next year. What we need is a 5 bedroom villa ( each BD must have full bath), with a pool that actually gets sunlight late in the year. A washer and dryer would also be great. A few whose sites I've checked are: Banana, L'Esperance, Cabrita Cliff Haus, and Great View. I believe these are all on St Thomas. Anyone have experience with these? Any info or feedback would be great! I'm sure they're all nice, but I'm the designated villa hunter and with 10 people- I'd better find the perfect villa! Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi Divapam....

I'd like to suggest that you take a look at Oceancliffvilla.com. The owners have done an amazing job of totally renovating the whole Villa. Everything is new and it's gorgeous!! It is 6 Bedrooms, and I believe it should have 5 fullbaths and 2 halfs. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I know that one of the Bedrooms was having a new bathroom put in, but I don't know if a bath or shower were going in also.

The views are gorgeous and they also have a pool and hot tub, set right on a cliff overlooking the water. Two decks, one near the pool and another one down overlooking the water.

Good luck with your search!

Connie, thank you! Wow, what a beautiful house! I'll be sure to show it to the family. Do you know anything about how steep or long the stairs are? My mom in law might have issue with steps. Any other suggestions, everyone chime right in! Thanks so much Connie!

divapam....

The steps could be an issue. It's definetly steep, although we spent most of our time on the main floor and then at bedtime everybody went to their rooms. Basically, we were out most of the time.

The villa is on a cliff with views that are amazing...

I don't know how old mom in law is. My mom is 84 and I know she wouldn't be able to do it.

PM me if you need more info.

Hi divapam,
I am a airport escort for McLaughlin Anderson and the houses you mentioned above are all with this company! Therefore I have seen them all! I realize you would like feedback on anyone who has actually stayed there, but I might be able to answer any questions you may have! All of the houses you mentioned are low in the amount of steps, Cabrita Cliff Haus having the fewest, the others approx. 5 to 10 tops. This house is also the newest and very nice! If I can be of any help, pm me!

Thanks Sherri! Later, I'll put together a list of questions and PM you. May take a few days, as I need to check with the family and see if they have any questions. Again, thanks so much to everyone for the help. Anyone else who wants to sound off on any of them, come on in!

Good evening! Thank you all so much for your replies! Nothing is decided and nothing is ruled out. However, we are now checking out houses on St Croix. Any info on Clairmont Mill, or something about the same size? By the way, I don't think it's rentable, but I keep reading about the "dome" house? Looks pretty cool. Just wanted to hear any stories about it. Man, there were actually a few others I wanted to ask about, but now I can't think of their names. Estate Belvedere? Seaview? Do theses ring a bell, or I have I gotten computer brain? I thank you all for all the help and trust me, I plan to continue to look to you for advice.
Have a great night!
