Looking for the best way to get from St.Thomas to Anegada, BVI. We will be staying in St Thomas from April 1-8 and trying to plan a trip to Anegada while we are there. Traveling with friends and absolutely need to share this amazing piece of paradise with them!! You haven't lived until you have a "Lobsta dinner" at the Reef Hotel and Pina Coladas from Charlie at The Big Bamboo on Loblolly Bay.
I HIGHLY recommend!

Can't help you with your question, but your post brought back memories of the time we were on Anegada. We were anchored there overnight and went to the Cow Wreck Restaurant. Had the whole place to ourselves. Ended up having dinner with the owners and another couple we went with.

Sure wish I was headed there right now!!!

Please let us know when you find out the best way and have a great time!!

We chartered a boat through Sunsail last January, and ever since we went to Anegada, I knew I had to go back (several times if possible) We had planned to stay one night and ended up being invited to their government settlement party they have once a year. We spent most of our time at the Big Bamboo with Charlie and Mama D, and had the beach to ourselves. We snorkeled and did some quality sunbathing (no tan lines!) Anegada is such an amazing place. Hopefully we can keep it a secret. My husband just got his sailing certification, so I'm sure we will be back again sailing in no time, now that I have my own Captain!

Island Girl-

Smith's Ferry runs a boat to Anegada from Road Town, Tortola. You just have to get to Tortola in time for the ferry...and you have to get back and connect on the ferry that brings you back to STT.

Maybe an overnight on Anegada would be best. Not sure what you had in mind in terms of length of stay.

....

MONDAY / WEDNESDAY / FRIDAY
~ ANEGADA DEPARTURE SCHEDULE
Departs Road Town
7:00 a.m.
3:30 p.m.

Departs Anegada
8:30 a.m.
5:00 p.m.

BETWEEN Virgin Gorda & Anegada:
Dive BVI makes day trips several times a week for day trips in their fast power catamaran the "Sea Lion"; call them to check days and times.
