It says on the St. Thomas website that a taxi ride from the airport to Red Hook is $9/person. Would that include our luggage, too?
Thanks,
Melanie

No, they charge luggage at anywhere from $1 to $4 depending on size. One guys' $2 suitcase may be another's $4 though, there is no standard!

For boxes, suitcases, grips; there will be an extra charge of $1.00 each piece after the first parcel. For oversized items the price should be discussed and decided upon between driver and passenger.

$9 a person, for 2 or more persons. $13 for one person alone. And the taxi will wait till its full.... if you want your own taxi without waiting for others then you have to negoiate a price.

They charge you whatever they think you will let them.

Chris' comment leads to a suggestion - best to have an idea what the regulated charges ARE - so you know how much the driver should be charging!!
