*how far is the synagogue from the pier and is there much walking to get there

It's about a 2 1/2 mile walk from Havensight. It's right in town. Why walk? The cab is only about $3.

Hello Barb,

I would agree with Ronnie to take a cab, its a relatively flat walk but a good hot walk all the same. Save the walking energy and do a walking tour of the historic sites including the Synagogue, Fort, 99 steps, Government House... This info. is for you docking in Havensight. Should you be at Anchorage then your tender will bring you right onto the Charlotte Amalie waterfront and you can walk from there. If you are docked in Crown Bay take a cab.
