We are planning a family vacation to St Thomas. Both of these resorts and beaches look great. Can anyone recommend one or the other? We have 2 teenage daughters. We like to snorkel and relax by the beach. Other than that we are flexible.
Thanks,
Judy

Judy-

Because you have teens, I vote for Sapphire. I think Sapphire has more to see and do......beach voleyball, shuffleboard, a marina, a pool that sits out on a peninsula on the beach, a Sunday Beach party that attracts locals and involved lots of dancing, a great shallow-water reef for excellent snorkeling, nightly entertainment at the open air beach pavillion, etc. When I took my teen and his friend to SH for the day, after the had aan hour of fun with the floating platform off of the ebach, they kept asking when we were going back to Sapphire.

I would strongly suggest you look into Sugar Bay Resort, great for all ages, except for maybe the elderly due to the amount of steps leading to the beach, other than that absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't Sugar Bay an All Inclusive resort?

I just don't understadn why anyone would go somewhere like STT and select an AI option. YOu can stay home for that.

I agree that Sapphire would be more fun for the teenage daughters - more to do - more active resort in terms of pool, beach, resturants, etc.

Don't get me wrong - Secret Harbor is a favorite place since I live just across the bay from it and enjoy snorkelling there.

Also, my neighbor is a mate on a deep-sea fishing boat that docks over at Sapphire and perhaps this might be of interest to your husband, or all of you?

Hello Judy,

When folks say teenage I have to ask what age because teens include 13 to 19 and their interest in those short 6 years are completely different. Also our legal drinking age here is 18 so that can change things up for an older teen.
