My girls and I from Los Angeles will be visiting St Thomas for Carnival, arriving May 5. Can you please let me know where I can find the hottest nightclubs for late 20 early 30 year old young ladies.
Thank you

I'm sure you'll find plenty of Carnival activities to keep them happy for the first weekend!
Try Stereo in Frenchtown -- Duffys in Red Hook -- but during Carnival the action starts at the Village
Thank you very much for the response. What is the Village?
Carnival Village is set up on the waterfront in the Fort Christian parking lot. Food and drink vendors, live bands and carnival rides - a lot of fun!
U also can try any restaurant or lounge at Yacht Haven Marina ...Fat Turtle or Hubbly Bubbly on Fridays or Saturdays are interesting places to go.;)
I had the same question several years ago when my husband and I vacationed there with our teenagers. Then we moved there and between our collage age kids and ourselves we probably found most of the options.
Here's a snip from a book I wrote about living on St. Thomas:
When a nightspot in the Virgin Islands calls itself a shack they aren't being cute, they're being literal. Bomba's Shack on the north shore of Tortola is famous for full-moon parties held in a make-shift structure of flotsam and jetsam literally lashed back together after every major storm. Duffy's wood shack is in the Red Hook Plaza parking lot. After the plaza shops close, two of Duffy's walls disappear and tables and chairs are dragged into the parking lot. You can get appetizers to go with your beer or exotic cocktail, which arrives in a tiki-head mug complete with a tiny orange plastic monkey hanging on the rim. The twenty-something crowd likes Duffy's for the loud music and the nightly appearance of a life-size great white shark head emerging from the wall though machine-generated fog and accompanied by the booming theme from Jaws.
My husband and I liked latitude 18, and my twenty-somethings recommend the Green House on Tuesday nights for two-for-one drinks.
Enjoy!

You failed to mention the mushroom tea.
THank you all so much this is very helpful because we really like to party....and cant wait!!
Not mentioning the mushroom tea was indeed an oversight on my part, as that, and the Phoenix-like nature, is what sets Bomba's apart.
Connie
Connie - Your book is great -- Thanks for taking the time to write it all down. EZ
