We are staying in St. Thomas for one night (the first night of our honeymoon) and have booked the harborview suite at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef. I'm wondering if the accommodations would be better in this room, or in a beachfront room in Morningstar (they are the same price!). Since we are only going to be there for one night before heading over to Peter Island, I'm not sure whether being close to the beach (Morningstar) or having great views (Reef) would be better. Thanks for your advice!

Hello Lauren,

Frenchman's Reef has more of a multi-story resort/hotel feel (walk through hallways to get to your room) and Morningstar more of a tropical beach hotel feel (walk down walkways with lots of foliage around to get to the various rooms). Staying at either you can use the sister property's pools, tennis court etc. So its really the atmosphere that's different. The choice comes down to 'what are you looking for'? That said the harbor view is lovely so you might go with that, considering you will have beach time later on in the trip.
