Hi all,
My girlfriend and I are visiting St. Thomas on Sept. 5-7 for a long weekend. While we're there, I plan to ask her to marry me. Any suggestions on a romantic location to pop the big question? Your help is greatly appreciated.

My suggestions:

Agave Terrace for dinner.

Lindy's at the Mafolie Hotel.

If you don't ask over dinner - go to a quiet beach after dinner. Maybe Bolongo or Lindbergh Bay.

Congrats on your upcoming popping ... and the risk that she'll say yes! 🙂 There are many opportunities whether it be casual with champagne on a beach as you present the coveted ring, over dinner at Inn at BlackBeard's with the terrific views from the Terrace dining, on a privately charted sail at sunset (let the cap't know your plans and (s)he will participate in the mission enthusiatically) or even when snorkeling your finding the perfect shell that just happens to contain more than a pearl as you present your "trophy" to her. What do you think that she'll find the "most romantic" and how do you picture the amazing event concluding with the picking of the date and planning to return to the USVI for the neptuals? HIgh end romance or casual beach bar fun? The staffs will eagerly share your joy as you plan your life together!

I heard that you can reserve the tower at Blackbeard's for a private dinner for two. I've never been up to the tower, but Blackbeard's itself is beautiful (spectacular view) I can only imagine that the tower is outstanding.
FYI--the restaurant at Mafolie is now called-- Mafolie. Lindy's is no more.
Congrats on what we all hope will be your engagement!
