Try calling the bar next door which used to be the Happy Buzzard, but I see it's now some Hawaiian named Rum Shack. The phone number in my phone book for The Happy Buzzard is 340-777-8676. If that doesn't work, post again, and I'll see if I can get more specific contact info. Was there anything in particular you wanted from them? I may go by there this week.

340 774-2074 -- if the store on the waterfront you mean is SOS nautical antiques? - They have pirate themed products , coins, artifacts etc.

And the Pirate's Chest at Paradise Point actually carries the REAL thing, in regard to shipwreck coins...not melting a bunch of silver and then tossing in one 'real' coin and letting it melt into the rest of the silver and then pouring that silver into old-looking molds and selling as 'authentic'...sure, there are TRACES of authentic coins in there, but a numismatist would laugh his head off at those on the waterfront! Call Sean at the Pirate's Chest...voted Number One Souvenir Shop on STT 2 years in a row...774-5279...lots of other touristy-type stuff there...but the coins are where it's at!

S.O.S. Antiques is on the left of the Pirate's Loot. The Pirate's Loot is kind of like a convenience/souvenir store that's right next to the Happy Buzzard (or what used to be the Happy Buzzard) on the left, but it's not flush with the sidewalk - it's further back. They used to have more pirate souvenirs than they have now, I think. I can't quite remember too much of anything that they had.

Thanks MS411 - I know that store - don't get downtown much but have been in there for a cigar.
Marty - I wasn't touting the store - just giving info - which turned out to be the wrong store anyway. I have known Sean since the day he and Danny moved here - he has a great shop.

Darn, I was hoping to be the contact for you that would store your Pirate's loot for you until you were ready to spend it, that is, until I read the thread in it's entirety... - Murf 😉

After having lunch at the Greenhouse, my favorite place to have a good meal and sit and watch all the activity along the waterfront, I walked over to The Pirate's Loot. The owner said his web site isn't working but here is the rest of the information you are looking for.

The Pirate's Loot
Gifts and Souvenirs
258 Dronningens Gade
St Thomas, VI 00802
340 775-3637

Yeah, I always like to give Sean a plug when I can...since we can't really do any advertising or soliciting on the site, answering the question like I did was a veiled attempt at plugging The Pirate's Chest! haha! Sean is one of my best friends..and Dany and I have known each other for almost 11 years...granted, I haven't seen him since he and Jen moved to the States, tho! haha!
