We are staying in St. Thomas for a week and it's a little unclear whether our hotel (Bluebeard's Castle) has self-service laundry, so I'm just trying to have a back-up plan. Are there any laundromats close to Bluebeard's? We do have a car, so even if there aren't any in the immediate vicinity, let me know about general location for any.
I know of one in Red Hook - In the American Yacht Harbor complex, down across from Molly Molone's.
There are laundromats all over:
Near the airport turnoff - it's the largest on island that I know of. It's tucked in between two gas stations and a convenience store.
Crown Bay Marina, there's a tiny one.
Benji Bay car wash, lower Main Street (Kronprinsens Gade area)
Next to the One Stop convenience store across from Addelita Cancryn school, under the "bridge" on Veteran's Drive
LD's laundromat is on Frenchtown's south shore (Gregerie Channel) next to the Lechon Palace (if that's what it's still called)... it's on the way to Knight Quality Stations/Radio One, Kiss and Jamz
Between Four Winds Plaza and Tutu Park Mall, across from the Lutheran Church, there is a laundromat...
I cannot think of any that are "near" Bluebeard's - I recall one that the Forde family owned in Garden Street area, but I don't know if it's still open.
I am sure there are more, I just have yet to sudz in 'em! Good luck...

There's another one in Long Bay, behind Blockbuster. They have a drop off service with (usually) 24 hour turnaround. Also a nice one inside Tutu Park mall, near the mall entrance to Kmart.
Everyone forgot about the laundromat in Tutu Mall. I think it is the best with the snack bar and air conditioning and ability to shop while you wash.
My favorite is in Bovoni. Lima's Launderette. Always clean and staff is helpful.
