I am looking for the nicest hotel on St Thomas and price is not a concern. I would want the hotel to have top service and amenities. Any recomendations?
Try the Ritz Carlton water front lodge. It has everything one could want. Prices start at only $13,000 for a week.
Thank you for your response. Although, I did book at the Ritz today but did not pay anywhere near $13, 000. I guess you were being sarcastic. I was really looking for an honest opinion of a very nice hotel for a very special occasion.

The Ritz Property is beautiful and a good choice for what you described you were looking for. The hotel itself has a range of room prices $200-900 is what I got via phone for a ballpark figure.
Not sure which rooms TJ was refering to but perhaps it was the Ritz residences which I believe is more of a time share set up.

I stayed at the Ritz on St. Thomas last Thangsgiving and found it to be phenomenal. The service was fantastic the pool, spa and beach are great. Ritz employees are always top notch. It is hard to go wrong with this selection. The timeshare mentioned above is the Ritz Club next to the hotel. They sell weeks starting at three week increments for about 115k. If you travel often with the Ritz it is a good thing to look into.
I think you will be very happy celebrating your special occasion at the Ritz Carlton. My wife and I visited the resort two years ago and plan on returning this August. The property is gorgeous and the service is top notch. In my opinion, the Ritz is the best hotel on St. Thomas--hands down. If you are celebrating an anniversary or other special event, notify the staff before you arrive. They will often do something special for you upon check-in such as room upgrades, free champagne, rose petals on the bed, etc. The staff here is the best you will find in the islands. All of this does not come cheap, but it's worth every penny if you can afford it.
