St. Thomas Historical Trust selects new leadership
The St. Thomas Historical Trust has added five new board members and chosen a new set of officers for 2007, the civic group has announced.
Ronald Lockhart is the trust’s new president, while Philip Sturm is now vice-president and treasurer and Lois Hassel-Habtes is secretary.
New board members are Joanne Bozzuto, John Woods, Fraser Drummond, Trevor Milner and Jacob Spell. They join sitting board members Cynthia Jerry, Michael Sheen, Alton Adams, Jr., Mary-Ann Hickey, Sean Krigger, Cordell Jacobs, Felipe Ayala, Jr., Carol Fava, Josie Kean, Sunil Mohannani and Cynthia Lawrence.
The group is focused on preserving history of St. Thomas and now is working with the National Park Service and the Friends of the National Park in the preservation of Hassel Island
Excellent! I wonder if Hassel Island was named after Lois Hassel-Habtes' family.
