Thank you to all those that attended the get together at Azure tonight. It was a great time, one of our best ones! There were 25+ people there (sorry, lost track of the kids). The children enjoyed the pool and playing. We had visitors there and they promised trip reports; so we will be looking for those. And we also had residents and newcomers – glad you all came. Donna, the waitress at Azure, did a wonderful job and the food was really good. It was happy hour and Thai night. Jacqui, the owner of Azure, came and sat with the group for a bit and thanked us for coming. They really did a great job. Hope those that attended enjoyed themselves!

So sorry I didnt make it to the get together, our boat didnt get back in time. We rented a 25' Nauti Nymph with a private captain for the day and it ended up being 8am-7pm excursion. Though it was alot of fun, made it over to BVI, etc. Im glad you all had a great time, looked like fun from the looks of the picture. I took many pictures on my trip and ill post the link as soon as I get them up. We had a awesome time on STJ and the Westin was gorgeous, though I must say the food there is a little over priced. Sad to hear Duffys on STJ is closing, we had a blast there even when the rain poured down on us. The fireworks were out of this world, we watched them from the swing on the Gazebo at Gallows Point, it was the perfect spot. The fireworks were better than the ones we have at home here. Ill post a full in depth review later tonight along with the link to my pictures. Talk to yas soon!
Duffy's in STJ is closing? When? We leave in 11 days.. wanted to check in out Have been to the one in STT and also the one they opened in OC Md a few years back.
The Duffys in STJ is closing just not sure when or exactly why. I know the one in Red Hook will remain open.
Thanks to everyone for making last Thursday a great evening. Great food, good conversation a couple of drinks with some "new" friends. I certainly would like to thank the organizer "Islander" for there help pulling these events off. See everyone next year.

We too had a great time last Thursday night. Donna, you were an awesome hostess, and John is still raving about the wonderful meal of red snapper we had at Azure Restaurant. It was alot of fun, thank you for setting this up. Thanks to Islander and Jeff for their hospitality. We are already setting up a trip for our family next summer.
What a great vacation. When the dust settles, I'll be posting a trip report.

We had a great time at Azure! Everyone was so much fun. The food was delicious. Thanks Islander and Jeff for being the catalyst for such a good time (and for the drinks!). Donna was fabulous and the kids had a great time in the pool. I would definitely do this again!
