Hi,
I'm going to St. Thomas in March and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a sail company. I am looking for a full-day snorkeling trip, on a boat that serves food & beverages and has a bathroom. I've been on a few trips through Cruz Bay watersports and I'm looking for something similiar. Any suggestions?
I can't seem to find much online. I would like to stay on a larger boat that holds approx. 25 people.
Departures from Red Hook, Havensight or Charlotte Amalie would be fine.
Thanks!!
I came across these places while planning our first trip to STT. Most of the sail boats that I found take up to 6 guests. Do you need one for 25 people or do you just like the atmosphere of a large group?
New Horizons up to 37 people

Daydreamer and Coconut are out of the Wyndham Hotel I think they take out larger groups.

Lady Lynsey out of the Ritz takes up to 49 people

I've taken the New Horizons trip several times using a 50% off coupon from my resort. It's really a great day. The boat docks at the marina at Sapphire Beach.
Small muffin breakfast with Bloody Mary or, I think, Mimosa, One stop off a St. John beach for snorkeling, Buffet lunch of cold cuts, salads, meatballs, brownies, Sail to another spot, lately it's been off Little St. James island, for more snorkeling then a sail back to the marina. Blender drinks are available throughout the day as well as beer and soda.
Even though there are lots of people on board, it's never felt overly crowded. I've met some wonderful people on these trips and generally have a great time.
With the coupon it's a great value. If I didn't have the coupon, I might go with a smaller boat.
