Hi Me and my husband and 2 other couples will be in St thomas for one night in August before we go to St John for the week. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a hotel or bed and breakfast for one night. We need something cheap but nice. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

We did the same thing last year and stayed at Hotel 1829. It is a historic hotel and not your typical place. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay there again for a night. Beautiful harbor views, we stayed on the top floor and you need to be prepared to lug whatever you packed up the stairs - completely worth the view. It was a one man show when we were there, the same person checked you in and bar tended. They offer a continental breakfast that is perfect to get you startedin the morning (Fruit and an English Muffin).
