Good morning,

My husband and I are arriving Wednesday for a week at Bolongo Bay. This is our first trip to the V.I. Getting a little discouraged at the 10 day forecast. Showing showers just about every day. I'm hoping it's like Florida and it'll rain for a few minutes then the sun will return...fingers crossed.

I'd really like to do a dinner cruise and a snorkel cruise. Any advice/recommendations to stay away from or preferred would be great.

🙂

Any time you see 30% chance of rain, that's normal....40+% gets more likely, but our rains tend to be short-lived and the sun comes back out with a rainbow to follow. With the weather patterns so unpredictable and so much water around us, I wouldn't rely too much on weather forecasting more than 24-48 hours out. Systems form and dissipate frequently around our area.

We've had very little precipitation in the last few months, but have gotten some rain yesterday and several evenings the past week or so. Nothing major. Don't worry about the weather, you'll have a great time!
