oh, mos def, rent a car if you are staying for any length of time. the convenience of being able to come and go as you please, when you please (in addition to the reduced costs) make it worthwhile.

just checked....budget has a good deal for a week compact for 169 ..if you call the budget rent a car st thomas phone number( on the site) they tell you it is twice the price!
so little tip is book ON LINE OR BOOK WITH budget international on the phone they will give you the cheap rate! 800 4723325....ALSO the guy at budget international said that the cars are cheaper from thursday late to monday....more expensive weekdays so if you are only doing a couple of days try the weekend
for instance a small compact automatic with air is 39 per day but on the weekend is 29 per day!
the weekly rate 169...
