We are coming to St Thomas in January for a week and I am just starting my car rental search. Any suggestions on good agencies would be appreciated. Also, how important is it that the agency is right at the airport? What about parking in town? Thanks all.

Hello Janet,

There are a couple agencies right at the airport, a few just outside the airport that will meet you at the airport and then some that are elsewhere on the island.

There is a parking lot in downtown Charlotte Amalie, it fills quickly. There is also some parking in other parts of town; pay attention to signs that indicate if its 30 minute parking for example. Parking in Havensight is good, at beaches, resorts etc. is good as well.
