Looking to see if the following all still would receive thumbs up for a recommendation:
Herve, Craig & Sally's, Randys Bar, Old Stone Farmhouse, Cuzzins, The Pointe

Any additions or deletions?

All are excellent! Except The Pointe is now called Oceana, and is equally as good as it was when it was named different. Definitely make a dinner at INDiGO at Magens Point Resort (almost next to Old Stone) a high priority. Food is fantastic and the prices are the best!

Wasn't Oceana at one time the Chart House? Probaly around '89 '90.

Room w/ a View is incredible, ain't it?!? MUST try the Crab Crepe for your appentizer! WOW! And INDiGO is my new fav, as the food is awesome and the most expensive item on the regular menu is the bacon-wrapped filet mignon for $22.50! I'm a tightwad! haha! But their food should cost TWICE as much! And I'd still go there!

Room With a View gets my vote. Great Chicken Cordon Bleu & Banana Flambe!!!!
My husbands only complaint was that on the island you get charged for all you refills. He is a soda drinker and paid $9 for three drinks. Here in the states, refills are free.

Hello PG,

Herves, Craig & Sallys, Cuzzins, Randy's... I'd add Banana Tree Grill & Blue Moon Cafe...

Fungi's, Sibs & North Drop for good casual dinner...

Tuscany Grill, Hook, Line & Sinker, Cafe Amici for good lunch... and Hull Bay Hideaway for good bugers by the beach... 🙂

I have to agree with Marty. We live near Indigo and it is absolutely amazing. We are there almost weekly. Cheaper to eat there than to cook at home if you include aggravation, price of food, WAPA bill, and taste.

MUST try Chilean Sea Bass with pesto. Its incredible. Great atmoshpere with tables outside surrounding a pool with waterfall. Service is EXCELLENT!!!! Sorry I sound like an ad.

Hull Bay hideaway is good as well. Nothing fancy but if you go try the crab lobster burrito. Ok now I'm hungry.

For good local west Indian food go to Glady's in the Royal Dane Mall, west alley. Look for Foxy's on the waterfront and it behind that. Great conch in lemon butter sauce and great grouper.

You can buy it at Cuzzins, as far as I remember. I think we did.

We just returned from St. Thomas and the best meal we had was at Havana Blue at the Marriott Morningstar Resort. It was so good we had dinner there twice. Herves was also really good with great views of the harbour.

Another great place for lunch or dinner is at Robert's which is located at the Elysian Beach Resort-nextdoor to the Ritz. The She-crab soup is excellent as well as their nightly specials. Can't think of anything we've had there that was not a delight to our palates.

Nobody ever mentions "The North Drop" (used to be called Bryan's New Bar). I find them to have one of the best sunset views of all STT restaurants and their food is excellent. The outdoor dining deck perched waaaaay up over the water and facing Northwest is a winner for views. They light torches in the evening, which makes it feel really tropical.

I guess they aren't mentioned much because they are not on the East End (they are just west of Megan's Bay area).

For all you visitors staying in a central location (Skyline, Peteborg, Mahogany Run, Hull Bay, Mafolie).....do yourself a favor and try this one and also try Indigo at Magen's Point.

Marty! Dont tell them that the food should be twice as much!

It's always our favorite nite out when on vacation. The whole experience. The food...service and atmosphere!

OK, I have a question. Which would you consider better for a romantic anniversarry dinner, North Drop or Herve?

I've never been to Herve 🙁

North Drop isn't really romantic. It has great views form the deck, but is a more casual place.

I would not hesitate the recommed the following:

I've had a romatic meal at Oceana and thought that was a nice place for romance. It doesn't sit high, but is right next to the water and open...and has a romantic atmosphere, especially with a seat on the rail.

People always thought Room with a View was very romantic and I agree. Food is superb.

Old Stone Framhouse was supposed to be romantic, but I haven't been there. Based on the repeat recoomendations of others, I feel ok with recommending it.

Havana Blue - romantic. At Frenchamn's Reef. Excellent.
