One of the divas on the upcoming Diva Tour in May just sent me a link to this site - the grounds look absolutely beautiful but this is someplace we never visited on our trips to STT. I couldn't find any info on when they were open, etc., and the site kind of makes it look like this is an event property and perhaps the nature trail and grounds are only open to event guests. Does anyone have any info?? Thanks!

New owners now & it is open to lookers. It's also an event place but anyone can go in during the day. There are now nature trails instead of just decks overlooking the foliage.

The Greathouse is offered as a botanical garden/estate tour stop on some of the cruise ships, and it's open every day (not sure if it's open major holidays, though). For anybody else wanting to tour the grounds, there's an admission fee ($8?), which, of course, includes a complimentary rum punch. Most of the events are held in a party room which is separate from the house. There's also a gift shop there.

What's the Diva Tour?

Thanks for all of the info on the Greathouse. MS411: The "Diva Tour" is five girlfriends having a week away and staying at Diva Villa in STT . We're calling it a "tour" since four of us are VI newbies so we will be touring around STT and STJ. Have tiaras, will travel...

Margy,
I'm surprised you didn't do a thread on DIVA, it is a popular house!
I'm guessing the fee for the Great House is $10.

Sherri - Good idea!!! I'll start a Diva thread and see who has stayed there and what they think. I do appreciate all of your help with getting us the scoops, tho.
