On a trip to St. Martin/St.Maarten a few years back, we discovered one of the island's specialties, Guavaberry Rum. I was reading Duffy's drink menu and drooling over the fou-fou drinks when I came across one with St. Martin's Guavaberry Rum. Can I buy this at Duffy's or anywhere else on the island? I was thinking I'd have to make a special trip back to St. Martin to get my fix now that my personal stash is just about gone! Anyone know? Thanks!
Sorry, forgot to specify the island of St. John!
Boy, did I get addicted to that stuff on Anguilla! It really snuck up on me and was soooo good going down. I don't recall seeing it in the liquor stores on St John, but then I don't buy much beyond Cruzan Rum. Check with Starfish Market. They have a good liquor store with a big selection (though not the lowest prices). they'd probably know. I also use the one right there off the ferry who's name i always forget. Much smaller selection. Better still, call Duffy's and ask where thay get it.
