There is no place to stay on Trunk Bay.

You can camp at Cinnamon Bay, camp at Maho Bay, or stay at the Caneel Bay Resort.

The majority of St. John (No S please) is National Park so there is very little beachfront prooperty available for accomodations.

Medic,

You must be talking about Cinnamon Bay. Those "brown apartments", on the left after the entrance, are cottages that can accommodate up to 4 persons. If you decide to go with those, try to get cottages a, b, c or d. They are the ones right on the beach.
Remember to bring lots of insect repellents, some hydrocortisone or Cortaids (for insect bites) and a flashlight.

I should have said: these 4 cottages: 10a, 10b, 10c or 10d are the nicest.
