Sue,

Beautiful place for a wedding - So many settings to choose from!

Have you been to STJ before?

As for the weather in September - You are still in the Hurricane season. September is probably the quietest month of the year in the usvi - so you will probably have no problems finding a place and little to no people - island very quiet.

If you haven't been - you may want to make a visit this summer when rates go down and scope it out and do you planning.

congrats

Sue,

We were just married in February on Cinnamon Bay in St. John. The best thing we ever did and I highly recommend it. What kind of accomodations are you looking for? We rented a villa in Coral Bay that was out of this world and it has the possibility to sleep up to 8 people I believe (it was just the two of us). We rented a jeep for the week through Courtesy, they are fantastic! Check out coralbayvacations.com they have pictures of the villa as well as a calander to check availability as well as pricing. I highly recommend them as well as Courtesy for your vehicle.

It was just the two of us on our trip, we were married on Cinnamon Bay around 10a.m, there was virtually nobody on the beach but us, the minister, the photographer and the videographer. You can e-mail me and I'll give you contact names if you want. I don't have a single complaint about any of the people who helped make our day so special, our pictures are top notch (and the bonus was when we left he gave us the CD with all pictures 216 of them and now I can do what I want with them), the quality was out of this world. The videographer did a spectacular job on the video and now I have memories on DVD/CD that will last a lifetime.

Drop me a line if you want more info I'd be happy to share what we found and give you some ideas on what we payed and who we used.

I can guarantee you won't regret getting married in St. John.

Jill

We just returned from St John 2 days ago, and while we were there we saw a couple being married on Hawksnest Beach. It was beautiful, I wish I had known about St John before my husband and I got married. The ceremony was simple, only 6 people in attendance(well, 8 with my husband and I looking on from afar). They had it around 3:30 in the afternoon, in picture perfect conditions, blue skies, clear water, palm trees, .....you get the idea....Like I said, it was beautiful and so romantic.

We used Stacy Mulcare of Ceremonies of St. John. www.usviwedding.com .
We were married on Trunk Bay at 3:30 this past December, just after the cruise ship crowds left and just in time for BEAUTIFUL lighting and the most incredible surroundings you have ever seen. We stayed at the villa Mar De Amores which was VERY private, the last house at the top of the hill with an amazing view. It was only 5 minutes from Cruz Bay and 10 min to all the great beaches. We had truly the vacation of a lifetime and I thank God every day that I chose to get married this way.
