I will be flying into St. Thomas and taking the passenger ferry over to St. John the first part of May. I then have a cruise that leaves from Road Town, Tortola on a Sunday. Is there a ferry that goes directly from St. John to Road Town? I see that the ferry listed on this site only goes to West End, Tortola. Should I take that and then get a taxi? Or should I return to St. Thomas, and take the ferry from there to Road Town?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I do not think there is a ferry between St. John and Road Town, Tortola. I would take the ferry in St. John to West End, Tortola.
Then get a taxi into Road Town. The distance is not too far and
their are always taxis that meet the ferry.

I haven't taken that trip for a few years. At one time there was a ferry direct from Cruz Bay to Road Town.

Now it looks like the Cruz Bay ferry only goes to West End Tortola.

I would NOT take the St John ferry back to St Thomas in order to go to Road Town. That would be a major hassle. Too much trouble.

If you take the Cruz Bay ferry to West End Tortola, you can clear immigration there and take a short taxi ride to Road Town and your cruise ship. Much easier than going back to St Thomas.

have fun
