Hi, this is my first trip to the Virgin Islands and I am planning to stay on St John. I am exploring places to stay and would love a villa with easy beach access. I have found one that describes southeast trade winds to keep you cool (Zootenval). I don't mind a breeze to keep me cool but don't want wind that makes the beach unpleasant. Can anyone tell me about the trade winds.

Also, any suggestion of a place to stay with easy beach access would be appreciated.

Thanks, Cherry

Usually the trade winds come from the Northeast / East at about 15-18 mph from December thru May. June thru November is lower 12-15mph.
