When we were in St. John back in August we came across a store that had hadpainted, glass Christmas ornaments with sand inside of them. We saw them on one of our first nights in town so we thought we'd do some more shopping the rest of the we bought anything. We tried to stop by a couple of times at the end of the week but the store was always closed.

I believe it was called This and That and was located on the street that comes down from gallows point after the sharp curve.

If any one has the phone number for this store I'd appreciate it. I'd like to find out about purchasing one of these ornaments and having it shipped to me.

Thanks, John

Maybe the store is called Every Ting. Not sure of the exact spelling but it is down the street from Gallows. I'll try to get the phone #.

Here are some numbers for Every Ting:
Fax 340-714-5665
Phone 340-693-5820
This might be the store that you are looking for.

If it's "after the sharp curve", I guessing it may be Pink Papaya, on your right as you enter the courtyard in front of Lime Inn. Check out pinkpapaya.com, or call 693-8535.

It was close to Pink Papaya and Lime Inn. But it was right of of the street not in the courtyard. I'm also positive it was called This and That. It was a very small store and sold mostly jewelry type items.

Thanks,
John

If it's the same ornament I'm thinking of, other stores carry it, particularly in St Thomas. They should be on somebody's website - I'll see if I can find them and send you the link later.

You're right...This and That is on the curve of the road just past the Fish Trap but not quite to the bank. The store was closed up last week, not sure if it was closed for the off-season or what. There wasn't a sign posted in the window w/ a website or phone number or anything (I looked cuz when I saw the store, I remembered seeing your post on the board before we left!).
