Unfortunately quite a few restaurants are now closed for off season (don't worry there will be places open to eat 🙂 ) so the restaurants I would have suggested - ZoZo's and Lime Inn will be closed. Do check to see if Morgans Mango will be open during your stay as their lobster is very good but also check an hour before you go that they actually have it on the menu.

Here is a link to the restaurants closing schedule.

If the goal is Caribbean Lobster and you can't find it on St. John, you might want to hop on a ferry to St. Thomas. Just across the street from the ferry dock is Duffy's Love Shack, which has a great 2 lb Caribbean Lobster deal on Thursday nights.

You can get Caribbean Lobster on STJ. Call Morgan's Mango and ask them what night they will have it.
As PIA said, it will be your only option since quiet a few restaurants are closed but Morgans's will have it. No need to go to STT.

If you are taking a boat trip to the BVI for a day, I suggest having lunch at Sidney's on Jost. Great Lobster lunch and a pour your own bar!

When I'm in STJ I always stay in Coral Bay. I found a very small not so sure I would stop at restaurant called Tourist Trap!!! They have the best lobster sandwich on the island and the meatball is awesome. Larry owns the place and they make the best BBC drink on the island. I will be there for two weeks in Oct. and I hope they are still open. Enjoy your trip and just relax drink and swim the best of times to you!!!

I agree with xislandgirl. Sidneys Peace and Love is a great place to get lobster and have a nice relaxing time. We watched as they brought our lobster in while we served ourselves drinks. Good place to pick up a cap or t shirt. The place is not fancy but it is a fun place to look at the shirts hanging from the ceiling and enjoy the water view. Zozos is also good but fancier.

Rhumb Lines if it's open is always delicious! Also try Uncle Joe's bbq-awesome! There are plenty of Bodega type places that seem to be overlooked, but do yourself a favor and check them out. Great Johnny Cakes, Rotis', conch fritters, etc...
Great local food.
Enjoy and always
Smiles-
MJ

I am seating at Duffy's Love Shack now, Thursday night’s a 2lb. Maine Lobster for $34.50. My god what a deal I will be there tomorrow night.
