My daughter and her husband are coming to St. John for their honeymoon and we are running into an age problem. It seems you can't rent a vehicle if you are under the age of 26. Any suggestions?

Contact Budget, they will let you rent if you are under 26, but you pay an additional fee of like $10 a day. I had to do it when I lived on STT and our car was getting some repairs done. Not sure if they let you take cars to STJ, but its worth a shot to find out...

Budget will let you take cars to St. John and an additional fee of $10 a day...we just went through that, but good luck with Budget, we had a horrible time with them last week renting.

I rented from Bougainvillea car rental once before I was 26 on St. John. This was several years ago - I'm not sure what their age minimums are today. I rented from them again a little over a year ago and had another great experience. Check them out at stjohnjeeps.com.
