Hope I do not double post. If so, forgive me.
We arrive on St John 10/27 and depart 11/3. What kind of weater can we expect? Also, I understand that this is somewhat the off season, so will it still be crowded? Thanks.
As an after thought, do the VI have there own brand of beer. I have been to several other countries, and they all have beter beer than the USA, or maybe it's just my attitude at the time. LOL
ir: October is not winter!-January and February are winter! Usually October weather is great. The beer of the VI is CRUZAN RUM! 😉
Eastender..you are so right....Cruzan all the way!
VI Beer?
There is a new one called Virgin Islands Ale. It is a pretty good pale ale I really liked this past trip. I do not remember where it is brewed.

We will actually be there from Dec. 30-Jan. 10th, staying on St. John. Can anyone tell us what the weather is usually like, as well as what we can expect the water temp's and surf to be like?
Thanks!

While there are seasonal trends, like storms.. the weather forecast every night on television says.."high in the eighty's and a low in the 80's with a chance of clouds and a chance of showers. tomorrow will be ...high in the 80's a low in the high 70's..or 80's and...
the water temperature will be in the eighty's and dipping to the high 70's at some locations. Next week the weather will be a high in the 80's and..
Actually December and January are a bit cooler, (3 or 4 degrees)but if you are coming from Cleveland it won't matter.
The VIPA is an excellent beer. They are even making some seasonal brews at their pub in Mongoose Junction. Check out their site www.stjohnbrewers.com/
Another semi-local beer is Blackbead Ale brewed and bottled on St. Croix Finally the only other one I can think of off the top of my head is Foxy's lager, brewed on Jost van Dyke.
My rating
1) VIPA - Summer
2) Foxys - Red
3) Blackbeards
AND ITS CHEAPER THAT BEER TOO!!!
