How is ST John in June - I was told it's "off season", but the Carnival runs that month. I'd like to go when it's not too crowded - would June be ok if I'm looking for some peace and quiet, or should I wait until after Carnival??

Hello Wendy,

The last week of June through July 4th is when the Carnival activities are in full swing and Cruz Bay gets busy for it. So either come in the beginning of June or wait until after July 4th if you want to miss the Carnival activities. Otherwise just avoid Cruz Bay, that's where the events take place - other areas of the island aren't affected.
