Our flight to St. Thomas gets in at 1:40 pm. We're camping at Cinnamon Bay, had hoped to taxi from airport to Charlotte Amalie and take ferry to Cruz Bay. Is it true that the only run available is at 5:30 pm? Thanks in advance.

The ferry from Red Hook runs on the hour every hour until midnight. The CA run is minimal. Go to the top right hand side of of this page and click on "ferry schedules" under the Quick Links. Between the taxi fares and the ferry fares it works out the the same whether you go via CA or RH to STJ.
Yes the CA ferry is only running a 10am, 1pm and 5:30pm ferry so your best bet unless you want to wait is the 3pm Red Hook

The St. John passenger ferry to CA is currentlly running at 8:45 am; 11:15 am and 3:45 pm .
