HI,
I'm going to be staying on St John in February. I'm flying into St Thomas. I was wondering if I need to schedule my ferry trip from St Thomas to St John ahead of time or just walk up and purchase a ride when I get there.

Brian,
Jus' wander up and buy your ticket when you get there. There are actually two places you can catch a ferry to St. John, one being "downtown" Charlotte Amalie, and the other being Red Hook on the east end of the island, and the ferrys run at different times from each place. Which you will use depends on when your taxi manages to depart the airport and your driver will know which place to head for.
