Hello! First time posting,,,great board! I have traveled to the USVI off and on for over 20 years. Have recently
been taking family of 6 to St John for summer vacation. I have been using Conrad Sutton for car rental.
And was looking for anyone's good report on other maybe less know agency's. Have read some negative
reviews about some of the rental places. We need a vehicle to accomdate 6 but wanted to compare prices
with trusted retal outlets. Thanks for any reply's.

I've rented from Courtesy with no problems. They were helpful when I lost the key while on a kayaking tour out of Cruz Bay on our last visit to STJ.

We rent from St. John Car Renatl everytime we go and never have a problem. Very easy to work with and you can park the car in their lot when visiting Cruz Bay.

question, will be using them in Nov, is it true you can use your insurance for the states? My company seemed to be the dark on this.
Many thanks.

My auto insurance covers my driving liability and the rental car and passengers in the United States and Canada. That includes the USVI. Not all insurance companies will. Check with your agent to get an answer in writing or review your policy. If you opt for the rental company insurance, read it to be sure of what you are paying for. Some rental agencies (not all) will sell you insurance which only covers damage to their car.

many thanks talked to our agent and we are all set, will take a letter from them on their letterhead. So we can use their lot to park in while in town that is good to know. Not that we will be in town much, hope to be out and all around the island snorkeling most of the time.
