Hi all!

My husband and I trying to decide if quitting our jobs and moving to the islands is a good idea. So far, we think YES! Our only issue is our dog (bulldog/beagle mix). We think he will be fine once we get there, inside dog, on flea/tick/heart worm meds. And I know he isn't welcome in restaurants or on the beach, which is ok. However, how do we get him there?? All the airlines I have check won't take snub-nosed dogs (bulldog or any mix). Help! We want to come so bad, but can't leave him behind. :S

You need to repost on the relocation forum (link upper right hand side this page). You'll find a huge amount of information there about moving to and living in the USVI on scroll-down menus top of the page and there are several discussions on the forum related to traveling with dogs. There are private charter options (very expensive) and this might be your only option.

Anyway, there's a ton of information over on the other site to better aid in any decision you might decide to make.
