Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that we have a 3 bedroom villa that we recently purchased a week during 12/6-12/13 available. It is at the Westin St. John Resort. It's newly renovated this year and beautiful. My husband and I had some unfortunate bad luck recently and will not be able to use it. We are VERY bummed, but thought perhaps someone else could take advantage of it. I know how passionate the VINOW users are about the islands and would love to rent it to someone who loves the islands as much as we do.
It has a king bed, queen bed and two double beds. They are difficult to rent especially to request one at the Bay Vista Phase on the resort which is the newly remodeled section. They go for $1900/night plus! You will have full access to the hotel's accommodations (swimming pool, work out center, etc.) We are renting it for $600/night which is a steal given what it offers. It would be a great get away for a family, group of friends, etc...

First, let me compliment you on making a good choice on purchasing a 3 bedroom villa at Westin St John. They are gorgeous villas and I would not mind having one of them to live in year round. I worked at the Westin St John as the owner services manager Nov 98 thru Feb 2001 before moving to Florida and have had the opportunity to visit WSJ many times since moving stateside. I always love going back and visiting the property.
Anyway, I am so sorry that you will not be able to visit during your week. I would be bummed too. I hope you can rent the villa...it is a steal at $600 p/nt and anyone who stays in one of those villas will certainly want to purchase one for themselves. Just wanted to check in with you to make sure you were aware that on the off chance you do not get a renter for your week, you still have other options so you do not lose your week...such as banking your week that you have up to 2 years to use at either your home resort or another RCI and/or II resort. I just wanted to throw that out as an option so you wouldn't be so bummed about not visiting WSJ this year. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you so much for your response and advice. I really appreciate it. You must have loved working there......to be around that beautiful setting all the time! Yes, we are offering it at a steal, but will also consider our other options. I know December is a high time and we will be missing out, but hopefully next year we will take full advantage of it.
