Hello All!!! We are excited to be leaving for St John on Tuesday, March 25! We are spending a week at the Cinnamon Bay Campground in one of the furnished "tents". 🙂 This should be great fun for the whole family - but we aren't quite sure what to expect, as we have never done anything like this! Has anyone done this before? Can you share your stories? Can you tell us what the tent's were like? How were the beds? What would you recommend taking? What should we leave at home? We have visited St John before - and love the island!!! Please be honest! Thank you so much! 😀

I haven't stayed at Cinnamon Bay since I was a small kid (1971) so I can't help with actually staying there, but I can recommend you get a good bugspray. Last May we spent several days at the beach at Cinnamon Bay and it kept us from getting eaten alive by mosquitos (it had rained a great deal the week before we got there). It might not be so bad if it's been dry, but be prepared.

As what not what to take: about 75% of the clothing that you pack! You probably know that though. 🙂
