Hello Everybody,
This is my first post to the boards, I have been reading for a long time.......
I have a question that has been bothering me for awhile.......What is the red block on the boardwalk, that I see when I view the Christiansted Webcam????
I havent been to the boardwalk since last summer, and I think it is something new because I never noticed it until within the past 6 months or so, but what is it????
Thanks Kenny

49 views on the question, and no answers???? Did I stump everybody?
I expected an answer rather quickly.........Just to be clear on the question, if you go to the following link and look at the boardwalk webcam, there is a red square box/platform there...What is it??? ......I do not think it is intended as a place to stand for the webcam, is it??? It seems a bit out of place if that is what it is for.......I thought the yellow circle was for that...
Please help me out and give me an answer.....Thanks

I believe a light used to be there and was moved. They put the square over it. I may be wrong, but that's what I'm thinking anyway. I just checked out the webcam--- beautiful blue day there today, sigh......

Yes, Paula is right. There used to be a lightpost there and for a very long time there was just an orange traffic cone on the spot with some exposed wires. Now they've replaced the cone with the board/cover. I'm guessing it may be permanent!

And, yes, it's a beautiful blue sky but St. Croix is going to get a lot of rain starting tomorrow thanks to the track of TS Erika going right over the island. Good luck all!
