Any advice on easiest and cheapest way to get from St. Croix to Tortolla would be appreciated! We have to catch a catamaran trip at 5pm on July 10 from Tortolla and don't want to risk missing the boat!
Your only viable option is flying.
If you can't do the airplane thing than you could catch the ferry to St Thomas then a Ferry to Tortola from here. It will be a long day of Ferry Rides but it is doable. If you can swing a small charter flight that will be the easiest. The other option would be a seaborne flight to St Thomas then Ferry to Tortola.

Jay, I believe Smith's Ferry Service has taken over the STX-STT operation and that the info published in the "Quick Links Ferry Schedule" top right this page is up to date.
I agree with dntw8up that flying is the much better option and I'd go further by saying that getting to Tortola the day before the boat leaves would be even more comfortable. Also check into direct flights between St Croix and Tortola (Beef Island). Cheers!
