I am heading to STX in a few weeks. I am really interested in visiting the Baths over at Virgin Gorda. Is there a way to do a day trip over to the Baths. I thought about STX to STT to Virgin Gorda. But that is very hard to do. Any input or past experience will help. ED

The only reasonable way to go is by air charter. Four passenger round trip is around $800. there also are a few scheduled flights from STX to Tortola then ferry to Virgin Gorda. I think about $200 per person. No scheduled ferry service and the trip would take a rock and roll half a day one way by private high speed yacht. The air charter is quick and you can land on Virgin Gorda.

IMHO the baths are highly over rated and often over crowded. It was a nice side trip 15 years ago. Now too many tour boats and ferry passengers make to a too crowded venue. Nice trip, but not worth the extra time or expense.

there are some smaller baths just west of the carambola beach resort, jeff the head landscaper goes there quite often and he can give you detailed directions.
