What beach or ares is best for snorkeling on STX? We want to stay on STX for a week in November, but we don't want the expense of a car. Are there are resorts or villas near decent snorkeling? I've read the visitors guide, but Id like to hear from some locals. 😎
Also, if you know of any Villa or condo specials please let me know. Hope to book by Friday!!

You should look into Cottages by the Sea. Nice place and good snorkeling. The Buccaneer is another place with really good snorkeling. But reconsider a car. STX is a big island and easy to navigate. No matter where you stay, you'll miss a lot without a car.
I'd second getting a rental car. STX is not that difficult to navigate and you will miss so much by relying on taxis for everything. For villas, I'd recommend Marti Gotts at Vacation St. Croix. www.vacationstcroix.com. Marti knows STX as she has lived there for many years. She has a great selection of villas that she manages directly and her company is full-service: meet and greet at airport, concierge for excursions and provisioning, full staff for 24/7 support.
Ditto on good snorkeling at the Buccaneer Resort. There is good snorkeling at Cane Bay, and diving if you were interested. Plan to take a charter over to Buck Island.
