Are there any nude beaches on the Island or any gay friendly beaches?
The West End, Fredericksted
As you will probablty be told, "public nudity" is legally forbidden in the USVI. However many of us "old time" nudists keep trying to find a place. Katie's response (West End, Fredericksted) is unfortunatly ambigious and incomplete. There are some quiet,secluded beaches where you might be the only people and nudity might be ok. (If a naked person is on the beach and no one is there..are they naked?). Isaac and Jacks Bay ( East End)are also known as ok nude beaches for the same reason. I am not comfortable at these beaches because seclusion can also mean lack of security.
As for Gay beaches, there are or have been a couple of resorts that welcomed gay travelers. One that I know of, is the Cormorant Beach Resort.. Have fun...
