Just to put an FYI out for you all
I just got my Sprint PCS bill in the mail for the time I was at StX. Cringing, I openned the bill and WaLa: All the minutes I used, were included as part of my plan... I have like 500 minutes that are nationwide. Yippy... Sprint PCS includes the minutes like stateside.
I also got the SBC phone bill, Toledo Area. I had to cringingly open this as well do to the calls I was making to St. Croix before I left (and still are making). AND Yippy. SBC also gave me .05c a minute which is my long distance state to state plan.
So people if you have these as services, I would say use them and abuse them...
Hello Eve,
Sprint PCS is a service provider here so their nationwide plan includes us. You can call the VI from Toledo on your Sprint phone and no long distance charge - just your regular minutes will be used. And if you have free weekends - hey you can call St. Croix all day long on Saturday with no long distance and no minutes used.

I was pleasantly surprised that we could use our Sprint PCS service last year in STT. I have checked for our trip next month to STX and we'll be able to use Sprint again. We've already signed up for a month of internet service so we'll be able to keep up with work and keep in touch with work and family.
