Anyone used their Sprint Cell phone on St. Thomas? How was your service and were there any extra charges on your monthly bill?
Thanks
We used Sprint all last summer and it worked just fine with no additional charges. I will tell you that my daughter came to visit and had Sprint on my X's plan which is older than mine and my X got an "International Package" added for her trip. I'm not sure what that was or why she needed it. I did, however, stop by and talk to the Sprint people and made sure that they put it into their computer that we would be in the USVI for an extended time and they gave me a print out that indicated that our charges/rates would not be impacted. Better to be safe than sorry. A friend down there had Verizon and her texting cost her $500 for the first month she was there.
Have a great time!
Sprint and At&t both consider the USVI the same as any other domestic US location. Verizon treats it as international.
we use sprint and it is very good.
a few dead spots and some problems on the north side.
and as said there is no roaming.

I live on the north side of STT, and Sprint is the only cell service that works where I live. I've turned off roaming so that I do not connect through the BVI (international rates.)
