Does anyone flown Sprit Airline recently and know if they wave the carry on fee for boxes of alcohol?

To my knowledge, the USVI government has negotiated with the airlines here to check duty free liquor gratis. That said, I've never flown Spirit, so make sure you check with them [it's best to call their desk here since the stateside agents likely won't have a clue]
