I think it is only during Sept/Oct that the SAT. flight is the only one. Were you trying during that time frame? I am flying that leg mid week in Aug. but coming back in Oct. only Saturdays were available.

Exit, I'm pretty much looking for anything and their deals are pretty good. The dates today stated Sept. 5 - Nov 20th. The site said tues and wed for 109.00, but when i put in tues and wed for flying it said "We only fly on Saturdays". I don't know. Just kind of confusing.

I saw that too....but it's a bit bizarre.......the $109. fare is only for Tue & Wed in September & October........Spirit doesn't fly there on Tue & Wed in September and October.

I tried a Tuesday in November (Nov 18) and got it, but couldn't get the return for that price.

Plus you need to add $20. each way per bag ($30. if not purchased on line) and now they charge for reserving seats........This adds another $50 - $70 to your ticket.

Note: If you don't have a reserved seat and the flight is over booked they send you "home". This happened to my daughter's boyfriend.

I used to like Spirit, but they're getting to be ridiculous.

It's really the $39.95 club....but you can join for 3 months for $9.

They give you special discounts that aren't available to the "general public".

I do not join the $9 club and also uncheck it when booking as well as the trip insurance -- you must uncheck the boxes or you pay the charge.

It really gets confusing doesn't it? I'll have to get my OC husband on this. He'll figure out 🙂

we got that deal on Spirit for our October trip to STT...but we are flying Saturday-Saturday... from FLL.
We had to pay the baggage charge as well.. but it was still a deal. I did notice if you want to select your seats
ahead of time...you can do so with a charge... which I thought was a bit "much". Its our first time on Spirit...
hopefully the experience is worth the savings.
Now if I can only figure out our car rental...we will be all set! 🙂

We use Hertz....with a discount from AAA (usually 10% off).

It's convenient.

Does anyone know if there are any other direct flights from STT to PHL? Seems as tho USAir is not running right now and I am looking at taking off on the 20th or 21rst of Aug as my Mom is in the hospital. ( Can't leave earlier as my Niece who getting married today is coming down on the 11th thru the 19th). When I ck'd out flights, I couldn't get to ELM, NY without taking 4 flights! I usually do this in 2. Any suggestions? Connie and others, should I try Spirit? Sounds crazy and complicated!

Spirit runs from Atlantic City to STT, but they always stop at least once on their way to STT.
