hi every body.I´m a professional diver in Spain and i´m looking some place in the world to settle down for several months a year.I want to know if is possible to get money fishing with spear weapon and if there is people who already do this.The prices of the different species, the licences and have to ask fot, etc

interesting question. . . . not sure about getting you a direct answer but i think I can lead you on your way to finding out. You are allowed to Spearfish here in the US Virgin Islands as long as you are not in National Park Waters. Mostly I think you would find inshore productive fish to be Yellowtail Snapper and Grouper. Not sure about what you could sell them for but your best price would come from the general public followed closely by the restaurants. Fisherman get 5-8 dollars a pound for Mahi to these markets.
As for a license, you would not need one to actually do the fishing/spearing but you would need one to sell your catch.

And don't forget, if you are not a US Citizen you will need a work permit/Green Card to be able to reside and work in the USVI - same requirements as the mainland USA.
