Can anyone tell me whether Pueblo or Gourmet Gallery at Crown Bay Marina sells jars of soybean butter?

You can try calling them to inquire. Check with the health food store, if they do not stock.

Thank you. I will bring plenty of cashews for a source of protein, just in case they don't.

You can buy cashews and other nuts by the lb. at Fruit Bowl.

Thanks, Alana. How far is the Fruit Bowl from Crown Bay Marina? I won't have a car. I was hoping to pick up a few supplies right there before heading over to WI.

My vegetarian friend says he's seen it at the Fruit Bowl and the health food store at Mandela Circle near Pueblo.

The fruit bowl and the health food store are on the eastern end of the waterfront just past Yacht Haven Grand before you get to Havensite.
Fruit bowl is futher up, about a block away across from Banco Pop in shopping center by the lights at intersection and across from hospital
You can probably catch a shuttle bus and get off either at FB or the health food store and walk to one or both.
It's about a block walk between the 2. Probably should bring a cart or rolling bag with wheels and you can stock up.
Pueblo is between FB and Health food store.

Thanks, both of you! I'm sure I'll find it at one of those places! I went with friends to the Fruit Bowl the last time I visited, just wasn't sure of the location.

Fruit Bowl: Wheatley Center - 340-774-8565 Fax - 340-777-8564.

Across the street from McDonalds & Banco Popular at Lockhart Gardens, where town/little Kmart is located too.

Alana33 gave very good directions.

Thanks, Seabreeze! I'll put the phone number in my contact list. Shouldn't be too terribly hard to get to, especially if I can hitch a ride with my friends again! I really liked the store when we were there the last time. I even took pictures! Nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies, and the prices seemed within reason for Island produce. Thanks too for the info about the little Kmart being nearby. I guess if I visit often enough, I'll learn my way around.

In that surrounding area, you have the health food store, Pueblo, K-Mart, and Fruit Bowl.
While prices aren't cheap, they probably beat those for Goumet Gallery at Crown Bay and their other location in Havensite, next to Dockside Bookstore.

You're welcome!

I think Fruit Bowl current prices are higher than previous years because they are carrying a lot of organic fruits and vegetables.

Enjoy!
